Key Responsibilities
As a Branch Official, your core objectives will center on operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and business growth. Your duties will include:
- Operations & Service: Overseeing daily branch banking operations to guarantee seamless service delivery and a superior customer experience.
- Customer Relations: Addressing and resolving customer grievances promptly while building lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Compliance & Documentation: Managing accurate Customer KYC, CIB reporting, loan documentation, and strict adherence to regulatory standards.
- Business Development: Actively participating in deposit campaigns and engagement initiatives to expand the client base, manage customer portfolios, and drive both asset and liability growth.
- Performance Metrics: Meeting established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and achieving business, operational, and financial targets.
- Audit & Risk Management: Maintaining auditable records and supporting internal/external compliance reviews.
Candidate Profile
Educational Qualifications
- Required: A 4-year Bachelor/Honors degree from a reputable university, preferably specializing in Finance, Banking, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Academic Record: A clean academic history with no third class/division or equivalent CGPA.
- Preferred: Candidates holding a Master’s degree will receive preference.
- Credentials: Relevant professional qualifications will be treated as an added advantage.
Experience & Competencies
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience exclusively within the banking sector.
- Core Domain: Proven background in Branch Banking, specifically across General Banking (GB), Credit, or Foreign Trade.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Bangladesh Bank guidelines alongside standard Credit, GB, and Foreign Trade policies.
- Key Skills: Strong, professional communication skills in both English and Bangla.
